Hall Rentals

The Community Hall (7 Second Street) and Recreation Hall (21 Second Street) are owned, operated, and maintained by the Village of Westport (Village Commission). Rental fees help with the cost of operating and maintaining the buildings and providing a space for community-based activities.  The Village of Westport reserves the right to deny or terminate any rental application.

When Village of Westport formal organizations or Societies rent either Hall, they are required to provide the Village of  Westport with a Certificate of Insurance, from their own Insurance company, listing the Village of Westport as an Additional Insured. Free will donations are accepted.

When individuals rent either Hall, the Village of Westport will list them under the Village’s additional insurance for the Facility User Group Policy. Village residents needing a venue to host birthday / anniversary parties, baby / bridal showers, or the Seniors Monday Crib  Games are considered eligible for this policy.  Free will donations are accepted.

The Certificate of Insurance must state the Hall address, the date (days) of your event, and the activity or event.

Please complete and email the Village Waiver form, the Village rental contract, and your Certificate of Insurance listing the Village as an additional insured to villageofwestport.clerk@gmail.com
